Our speaker today was Steven Babiak, who is a senior at Bentley School.[Your scribe today is a graduate of Bentley School]. Steve presented a program about his experience at Camp Venture. The camp is an 'entrepreneurship camp' designed to give young people a chance make a business plan that is realistic. Steve created 'Imperial Cinema'. This comp-any would build a multi-use theater in San  Ramon that would be like a dinner-theater, It would have bar service and hors d'oeuvre on Friday and Saturday nights to attract adults. It would be a family theater from Sunday through Thursday. One goal is to have employees to do an hour of community service(with pay).  Steve set up his company to be financed by a Rotary Foundation grant and an SBA loan. He believes the demographics suppor the business and he will pay back the loans in 2 1/2 years. Our club was quite impressed by this youthful tycoon.

President Geoff adjourned the meeting at 1:30PM
