• Jay gave a few bucks in Jerry Garcia’s honor. Today marks the day Jerry died. He would have been 70 years old.
• Dino is back after taking the BAR
• John- sold two dogs sleeping better, no barking
• Larry B. off for 2 weeks. Celebrated his 25th Anniversary with Karen. He took a Jeep trip –very challenging and then off to Mendicino. He did make it to a Rotary Club meeting in Fort Bragg but did not stay.
• Our visitor Mary celbrated her 4 children, 7 grandchildren, 3 nieces one being 3 mo. Old
• Eric- thanked the community for giving him great information on a suspicious character including a photo of the car. They got the bad guy!
• THT night on Saturday to say thank you for all the donations.

He is part of the Contra Costa Historical Society. Great stories about our county! Many stories of the outlaws and land owners and Mt. Diablo (which stands for “Thicket of the Devil.”

Rotarians share tips for recruiting new members

Eight years ago, Géné Villaça-Crestia was asked by her district governor to start a new Rotary club in her country, Benin.

She had been a Rotarian for only four years and didn’t really know where to begin. But she had a few things working in her favor: Villaça-Crestia is extremely passionate about Rotary, and she doesn’t take no for an answer.
