Weekly Meetings & Special Events

Lafayette Rotary usually meets weekly on Thursdays at 12:30 to 1:30PM at Oakwood Athletic Club. Our meetings are great opportunities to meet other community leaders, hear from thought leaders from the bay area and have fun.

  • 10/24/2024 – District Governor, Dan Geraldi, visits Lafayette Rotary, and a chest of wine donated by club members is presented to Dan, to be auctioned to raise funds for the Wheelchair Foundation project

  • 10/31/2024 – Halloween lunch with a costumes table, and presentation from Graham Wiseman on BeingWell CA and their custom license plate initiative to support mental health in schools

  • 5/10/2025 – Great Musician’s Festival at the Lafayette Reservoir, with Duke Ellington theme.  Raised funds for school music programs in Lafayette and Oakland and other Lafayette Rotary Club supported projects.  24 Lafayette Rotarians, plus several spouses, helped out on the day of the event
  • 5/20/2025 – Lafayette Rotary runs a wine and beer bar at the Taste of Lafayette
  • 5/22/2025 – Lafayette Rotarians raise flags in Lafayette ahead of the Memorial Day weekend, with social time after at the Roundup

  • 6/9 – 6/14/2025 – Lafayette Rotary sponsors Annie Strickler to attend Camp Royal leadership camp for high school Juniors.  Annie will talk about the transformative experience at the 8/7/2025 club meeting.
